Rick Brown served as sports editor of the Northeastern News his middler and junior years and was managing editor as a senior. He went on to work full-time for the (Waltham, Mass.) News-Tribune for 16 years and part-time for the (Attleboro, Mass.) Sun Chronicle for more than 10 years before going into teaching in the Walpole, Mass. school system for 16 years. The father of five and grandfather of nine is retired, although he still maintains a part-time gig as The Voice of Walpole High Sports for Walpole Media Corp., Walpole’s cable TV station.
